Level 3 qualification for supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
Special needs teacher roles (SOC 2316) can be sponsored but need qualified teacher status. Teaching assistant roles (SOC 6112) are medium skilled: GOV.UK allows them only to extend permission granted before 22 July 2025, or for jobs on the Immigration Salary List or Temporary Shortage List, which they are not on.
